Talk Space Sundays

This is a space where individuals can come together to share their stories, experiences, and lives in a way that helps reduce stress, isolation and even loneliness. Oftentimes, we think we are struggling alone, but through communing we discover that others may dealing with similar situations and who in turn can help us feel better supported.

Consider talk space a support network and a sounding board. Typically we will meet for an hour bi-weekly every other Sunday at 2 pm EST. We may discuss a myriad of topics some pre-chosen by Psychotherapist, Shaunda Jones, and some chosen by members.

Yogabae is a community. Other members of the group often help each other come up with specific ideas for improving a difficult situation or life challenge and if you want, hold you accountable along the way.
Regularly talking and listening to others also helps you put your own problems in perspective.

Many people experience mental health difficulties, but few speak openly about them to people they don’t know well. Oftentimes, you may feel like you are the only one struggling — but you’re not. It can be a relief to hear others discuss what they’re going through, and realize you’re not alone.

Diversity and relatability are other important benefits of this group. People have different personalities and backgrounds, and they look at situations in different ways. By seeing how other people tackle problems and make positive changes, you can discover a whole range of strategies for facing your own concerns.

Talkspace is a benefit of membership. If you are not a member we encourage you to join. The cost for non-members is $45 per session.
